Experimental Model for Learners’ Cognitive Profiles of Historical Text Comprehension

چکیده

This contribution presents an experimental approach to learner modeling of Historical Text Comprehension (HTC). The Learner Model of Historical Text Comprehension (LMHTC), infers the learner’s cognitive profile and profile descriptor of HTC from his observable behavior imitating the human expert. The experimental research, which resulted in the design of the learner model, is described in detail. The exploitation of quantitative and qualitative criteria and the formulation of the learner’s cognitive profile and profile descriptor are also presented. The evaluation results are analyzed and followed by a discussion on the interesting research results for the dynamics of the constructed learner model.
